Unfortunately, the team lost all 10 games in the AFC/OFC playoff (see <a href="http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/archive/edition=50/preliminaries/preliminary=46/index.html">http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/archive/edition=50/preliminaries/preliminary=46/index.html</a> ). At the end, Iran became the qualifying team in the AFC/OFC region.<br />This shirt is characteristics because of the inclusion of the label "FIFA WORLD CUP 1978" under the HKFA team badge.
